PMO Manager - Planning & Control

Our client a Commercial bank is looking to hire PMO Manager - Planning & Control 


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing management reports, establish guidelines, and governance framework
  • Guide and monitor project delivery and performance
  • Establish and maintain project management standards, process and best practices
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project and portfolio performance
  • Analytical support, collect and analyze projects reports and data for identifying trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
  • Create visual representatives of data findings through charts, graphs and dashboards to make the data understandable
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business and support units to align business and informational priorities
  • Offer strategic advice on project governance, process improvement, and change management
  • Analyze and redesign existing business process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain PMO documentation, coordinate meetings and training
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation capabilities
  • Adapt to company’s Agile Culture Transformation Program and Business Development requirements
  • Assist to extend Project Governance and PMO methodology to overseas branches and subsidiaries
  • Handle ad-hoc projects/tasks or PMO internal review or audit tasks
Responsibilities:
  1. Knowledge, Skill and Attributes
  • Proficient in PC skills for Microsoft Office (includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.);
  • Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge in Tableau is an advantage;
  • Strong analytical thinking & problem-solving skill
  • Strong organization skills, interpersonal & communication and presentation skills;
  • Good time management and attention to detail;
  • Ability to priorities workload and manage deadlines in a systematic and organized manner;
  • Self-initiative and ability to work independently;
  • Able to handle ad-hoc assignments and other duties when required;
  • Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
  1. Academic and Professional Qualification
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant qualification;
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, AGILE or relevant certifications
  • Six Sigma certificate or relevant is an advantage
  1. Other
  • Over 10 years of experience as a project / program manager in working closely with both business and IT teams
  • Minimum 2-3 years of solid PMO experience.
